Amanda does not reproduce the mere ephemeral or instantaneous moment of exterior world. On the contrary, she presents it idealized and stable in order to compare it with her interior world, constantly evolving, intimately based on a meticulous observation of contemporary life.
The compositions of Amanda are both conceptual and instinctive and they are not at all based on convention, a very common practice today.
